Orthodontic Consultation For Children
Every person is a little different. However, it is recommended by the Australian Society of Orhtodontists, that about the age of seven is an appropriate time for a child’s first evaluation by an Orthodontic Specialist.
At this age, early detection of problems with the bite and jaw development can help with early diagnosis. At this early stage, the Orthodontist may help tooth eruption, guide facial growth, and often prevent more serious problems from occurring.
By lessening these problems in early development stages, later orthodontic treatment may be reduced or made easier, and therefore be more economical.
